Kinder Farm Invasive Removal

Join Weed Resistance at Kinder Farm park as we work to control the spread of invasive plants. We completed the first area in just under two weeks. We are now moving further down the trail into mix of meadow and early successional forest. Invasive encountered in this area will include Bittersweet, Japanese Honeysuckle, Bush Honeysuckle and Multiflora Rose.
Tools and gloves will be available for volunteers, your are also welcome to bring your own. Check the map to identify the location as a black star, it will be at start of Greenbrier Trail from the paved road. If you have any questions or are unable to locate the volunteer coordinator, please contact them at 410-434-8294 the day of or email in advance.
You are welcome to come for any part of the removal and stay for as long as you are able. Please dress appropriately for working in the outdoors and conditions of the day, long pants, close toe shoes, Etc.
